WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF CENOR

Gerard Sloot, Chairman

On behalf of the “Central and Northern Region (CENOR) organization”, I would like to welcome you to the official website of the “CENOR Flight Information Publication (CENOR FLIP)”. The CENOR FLIP is a co-operative project of the Armed Forces of Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Norway and The Netherlands. It comprises of two volumes of Instrument Approach Procedures (IAPs) and one volume of Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs). These FLIPs have a update recycle of 56 days.

It has always been our goal to publish the CENOR FLIP to the highest possible level of quality and integrity for the last 25 years. However the content and correctness of the instrument flight procedures published in our FLIPs are still a national responsibility. Every nation is publishing according the CENOR Specifications. These specifications are our standards to which we design, draw and publish. All nations are committed to improving these standards and ensure that they are in line with every changing international requirements. All this contributes to our most important objective providing tools of superior quality to our users.

The need for procedures, with new navigation and flying techniques, will be more necessary in the future. We expect an increase number of Area Navigation (RNAV) procedures and High Performance Military Aircraft (HPMA) procedures. Due to limited number of pages per FLIP, a reorganization of the CENOR FLIP is necessary. The design of the FLIPs will be probably changed, IAPs and SIDs together for the same aerodromes. The research for this new design concept is still under discussion.

Expansion of CENOR organization is another matter we have to take in consideration. Two nations have recently shown interest in becoming a member. The CENOR organization will help these nations to implement our CENOR standards. Hopefully in future these nations will soon became a full member of the CENOR Organization.

The information in the FLIPs and on this website must meet your expectations, if not, please do not hesitate to send your comments via one of the National CENOR Offices. The contact addresses of these National CENOR Offices can be found on this website and in the FLIPs. All national representatives working on this product will highly appreciate your feedback. Your comments can give us the tools to improve our product even more.

I wish every aircrew and user of the CENOR FLIP a save flight.

Your Feedback

Due to a hugh amount of spam posts making it very hard to look for any true feedback, the feedback section in the CENOR forum has been closed for some time now. We tried hard to find a solution which will let us continue that way of communication and finally found one. Today we re-opened the feedback section again. So if you like to notify us of any discrepancies or problems you find in the procedures or on the website or put some constructive suggestions forward on how to improve our services contact either one of the national CENOR offices or leave a feedback in the specialist forum (still no registration required).
