CENOR FLIP Layout Revision Survey
Given the current rate of technological development, CENOR faces new challenges in the near future. Already most of our flying communities are testing the usability of electronic flight bags for military flight operations. This will ultimately lead to the requirement of providing digital aeronautical data for electronic devices instead of distributing printed booklets.
In connection with the introduction of digital Instrument Approach Charts, CENOR is planning to introduce some major changes to the charts. The planned changes are:
Depiction of terrain in colours within the entire plan view area
Outer ring / no outer ring
Coloured R- and D areas
New way of depicting MSA
Depiction of cities and towns
But before we do this we would like to have YOUR opinion on each of the planned changes! Please take a few moments to view the examples and comparisons below and let us know what you think.
