Approach Lighting System Depiction
Started in 2005, aprx. end late 2010.
After the symbols depicting approach lighting systems in CENOR FLIP had become outdated, member nations decided to develope a new set of symbols in 2005. By the end of 2010 the new symbolization will be completely introduced. For more information see CENOR FLIP specifications, Appendix 6-8.
Grey Scales
Started in 2008, aprx. end mid 2011.
For many years technical reasons made it necessary to depict elements like a movement area or water with different types of hatches. Within today's printing enviroment it is possible ot use different shades of grey instead. Since certain shades of grey have been agreed upon during the last CENOR meeting, transition to a grey scaled depiction started and will be finished aprx. by mid 2011.
Publication Cycle
Reducing publication cycle as of May 2010.
The publication cycle for CENOR FLIP IAP and SID will be reduced from 112 days down to 56 days beginning with edition 06 MAY 2010 due to operational needs.
