Welcome to the CENOR Website

Welcome to the CENOR website!

On behalf of the "Central and Northern Region (CENOR) organization", I would like to welcome you to the official website of the "CENOR Flight Information Publication (CENOR FLIP)".

The CENOR FLIP is a co-operative project of the Armed Forces of Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Poland and The Netherlands. From 07 February 2013 the CENOR FLIP is published with a re-arranged content and other cover colors, but maintaining the 56 days cycle. We have united the Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs) and the Instrument Approach Procedures (IAPs) by Aerodrome. This results in a new division of CENOR countries into three Volumes: CENOR FLIP VOLUME 1 including Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, CENOR FLIP VOLUME 2 including Germany and CENOR FLIP VOLUME 3 including Czech Republic, France, Italy, Poland.

It has always been our goal to publish the CENOR FLIP to the highest possible level of quality and integrity for the last 25 years. However the content and correctness of the instrument flight procedures published in our FLIPs are still a national responsibility. Every nation is publishing according the CENOR Specifications. These specifications are our standards to which we design, draw and publish. All nations are committed to improving these standards and ensure that they are in line with every changing international requirements. All this contributes to our most important objective providing tools of superior quality to our users.

The need for procedures, with new navigation and flying techniques, will be more necessary in the future. We expect an increase number of Area Navigation (RNAV) procedures and High Performance Military Aircraft (HPMA) procedures.

Expansion of CENOR organization is another matter we have to take in consideration. Austria have recently shown interest in becoming a member. The CENOR organization will help Austria to implement our CENOR standards. Hopefully Austria will become in September 2013 a full member of the CENOR Organization. The procedures of Austria will be published in CENOR FLIP Volume 3.

The information in the FLIPs and on this website must meet your expectations, if not, please do not hesitate to send your comments via one of the National CENOR Offices. The contact addresses of these National CENOR Offices can be found on this website and in the FLIPs. All national representatives working on this product will highly appreciate your feedback. Your comments can give us the tools to improve our product even more.

I wish every aircrew and user of the CENOR FLIP a save flight.
